JOKSIMOVIC: Plan for Serbia to adopt EU standards by 2020/2021
In her interview for Alo, she also said that it didn’t mean that those were the years of Serbia’s joining the EU.
Commenting on the fact that President Aleksandar Vucic had started the initiative for getting a rough date of Serbia’s joining the EU, Joksimovic said that it was a legitimate question.
– A more precise time framework is needed, whatever it is, so that we could plan not just the activities but the budget as well in line with the needs of negotiating the transitional periods for a change in standards in certain fields, such as agriculture, environmental protection and food safety. This is why we are interested in what the EU’s plan is – she said.
