Nautical tourist company "Metro na vodi" from Zemun has announced opening of a hotel ship at 2,400 square meters at the mouth of the Sava and the Danube rivers in Belgrade at the beginning of the next year.

The CEO of that company, Stevan Micić, said that the hotel should have 3 floors, 42 rooms and five suites, and that the construction had already begun.

He said that that company had opened the season of evening cruising in Belgrade, on the Sava and the Danube, with the dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, between 8.30 and 11.30 PM.

The passengers have two ships with 66 seats at their disposal, and the cruise starts on the Danube Quay, behind hotel Jugoslavija.

Micić said that, at the time of Eurosong in Belgrade, the offer would be expanded, so that cruises with lunch would most probably be included in the offer.

Speaking about development of nautical tourism, he said that that type of tourism was insufficiently developed in Belgrade, although the capital had great potentials.
