Serbian government adopts Draft Law on Public Sector Wages

The Government of Serbia adopted the Draft Law on Public Sector Wages today, Government officials told Beta news agency.
This law regulates wages in the public sector that employs about 500,000 people, exclusive of those working at public companies.

Adoption of this law is a condition set by the World Bank to approve a USD 75 million loan to the Serbian government for public sector reform.
