Swarovski opens production department in Subotica
Swarovski has been operating in Serbia by the end of 2013 and has 383 workers and the construction of production department started in early 2014. So far, the company has invested in Serbia EUR 22 m.
The prime minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, attended the production department opening and outlined that Swarovski plant in Subotica is one of the most modern ones in Serbia and the most expensive when it comes to installed material.
Swarovski is famous for production of decorative crystals in 120 countries and has app. 25.000 people and it decided to open a department in Subotica after closing companies in the Czech Republic and China.
